When it comes to your family session, I try to make it as fun as possible, especially for the kiddos. I will always encourage running, jumping, tickle attacks, and games to achieve genuine moments between you and your family. Life is supposed to be fun, I believe the photos you invest in should reflect that.


Whether it's telling a potty joke, making funny noises, or dancing silly, I'll do about anything to make your kids smile and laugh. That's why for every family session I have my clients fill out a questionnaire form to learn more about their family dynamic and get the inside scope on what their kids like and what makes them laugh.


My one piece of advice during a family shoot, especially with toddlers, is to relax! If you are relaxed and calm, your child will most likely follow your lead. Kids will be kids, so please don't stress if they aren't listening, we will pivot and do a new prompt or activity to get them involved. Leave the disciplining to another time and try to be as positive as possible (I know, easier said than done). That goes for the husbands and dads too! #NoGrumpyDads.


If you or a family member is feeling nervous about the photo session, please let me know! I want to make you as comfortable as possible. Sometimes it takes showing your kid a look behind my camera screen so they understand what I'm doing to get them to open up. Let's work together to make the most of your time!

Cake Smashes + Milestones


Along with family photos, I offer cake smashes and milestone packages for your kids! I've created a Milestone + Family Photos package to allow enough time to do both within one session. I've captured cake smashes outdoors, in-home, at birthday parties, and in studio settings. The themes and options are endless!
